The Bussmann BP/FRN-R-60 is a time-delay cartridge fuse rated for 60 amperes at 250 volts, designed to protect circuits in industrial, commercial, and residential electrical systems. This 2-pack provides reliable over-current protection while accommodating the temporary overload surges that occur during motor startup, reducing unnecessary nuisance trips and equipment shutdowns.
Time-delay fuses are essential for installations where motors, compressors, and other high-inrush devices are common. The engineered delay curve allows the fuse to tolerate brief transient spikes without interrupting power, while still responding quickly to genuine faults. These cartridge fuses fit standard 250V panel fuse holders, making them suitable for HVAC systems, refrigeration units, heavy machinery, and other demanding applications where coordinated circuit protection is critical.
Features and Benefits
- 60-Amp Rating: Delivers precise over-current protection for circuits requiring up to 60 amperes of capacity.
- FRN-R Time-Delay Design: Allows temporary motor startup surges and transient spikes to pass through without falsely triggering, protecting equipment and minimizing downtime.
- 250V Voltage Class: Engineered for standard low-voltage distribution systems in commercial and industrial settings.
- Compact Cartridge Form: Fits easily into standard fuse holders for use in existing installations.
- Two-Pack Quantity: Includes a spare fuse for quick replacement when needed, reducing emergency downtime.
