Minwax Minwax 70012444 Wood Finish Oil-based Wood Stain, Dark Walnut, 1 Qt.

Minwax Wood Finish is a penetrating oil-based wood stain that delivers a rich, even dark walnut color while enhancing the natural grain of the wood. This classic stain is ideal for interior woodworking projects including furniture, cabinets, doors, trim, and other decorative woodwork where you want a beautiful, professional-looking finish.

The deep penetrating formula works by soaking into the wood's pores, providing color that showcases the wood's natural patterns rather than masking them. A single coat is typically sufficient to achieve vibrant, uniform color, though you can reapply for a deeper, richer tone. Since 1904, Minwax has been America's trusted brand for wood finishing, and this product carries that heritage of reliability and quality.

Features and Benefits

• Deep Penetrating Formula: The oil-based composition penetrates deep into wood pores to enhance natural grain while providing beautiful, rich color in just one coat.
• Quick Drying: Absorbs within 5 minutes of application and dries to the touch in approximately 2 hours, allowing you to complete projects efficiently without lapping or uneven spots.
• Easy Application: Apply with a clean cloth or brush in the direction of the grain, wait 5–15 minutes, and wipe away excess. The longer you wait before wiping, the darker the final color.
• Single-Coat Coverage: One application delivers vibrant, even color that brings out the wood's natural beauty without requiring multiple coats for standard applications.
