Benjamin Moore Paints Benjamin Moore Fresh Start Alkyd Wood Primer, White, 1 Qt

Benjamin Moore Fresh Start is a premium quality exterior alkyd primer formulated to provide exceptional adhesion and protection for new or previously coated wood surfaces. This primer is ideal for preparing wood before painting, whether you're refreshing a deck, refinishing siding, or protecting surfaces exposed to sun and rain. Alkyd primers bond strongly to wood and create a stable base that helps maintain color vibrancy and paint durability over time.

The low luster finish provides a smooth, subtle surface that works especially well under light color stains without overpowering the final coat. Fresh Start effectively prevents cedar and redwood bleeding, a common problem that can compromise the appearance and longevity of exterior paint jobs. This versatile primer is equally suited to new construction and restoration work, making it a reliable choice for both homeowners and professionals tackling outdoor renovation projects.
