Oatey Oatey 30780 Purple Pipe Primer/cleaner, Pvc And Cpvc, 4 Oz.

The Oatey 30780 Purple Pipe Primer/Cleaner is a dual-purpose primer and cleaner designed for PVC and CPVC pipe and fitting installations. This 4 oz. solution removes surface dirt, grease, and grime while simultaneously preparing pipe surfaces for a strong, permanent solvent weld. The purple tint serves as a visual indicator that primer has been applied, ensuring you can verify coverage before joining pipes and fittings.

Whether you're installing new plumbing, repairing existing pipes, or tackling a home improvement project, this primer/cleaner works on all schedules and classes of PVC and CPVC materials. It's formulated to soften the pipe surface for fast, secure solvent welds and flows freely for easy application. The purple formula is less aggressive than clear primers, making it user-friendly for both professional plumbers and DIY enthusiasts.
