The Reliance Controls TF151W is a surface mount furnace transfer switch engineered to maintain power to a single circuit, such as a forced-air furnace, during utility power outages. When the power fails, this transfer switch lets you safely connect a portable generator, inverter, RV generator, fuel cell, or other standby power source to keep your heating system running and your home comfortable during emergencies.

The pre-wired 18-inch flexible aluminum conduit allows flexible installation at the circuit breaker panel, at the furnace itself, or anywhere in between. Simply plug a standard grounded extension cord from your generator into the switch's inlet, and you are ready to operate your furnace on generator power. Power can be supplied from a portable generator, inverter, RV generator, fuel cell, or any standby source capable of producing sufficient current to operate the desired load.
